Ladies, sign up for BRPD self -defense program – WAFB

Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – Women can learn how to protect themselves from physical violence during the upcoming class of police self -defense in Baton Rouge.

The course will begin on Monday, February 17, and will continue on Wednesday, February 19; Monday, February 24; And Wednesday, February 26th.

BRPD says students must attend the four sessions to obtain a completion certificate.

The classes work from 18:00 to 9:00 pm at the BRPD headquarters. The address is 9,000 highways of the airline.

The purpose of the course is to allow women to recognize and avoid violent situations and to allow them the tools needed for survival.

The course is free and open to women 13 years and older.
