Hialeah joins Coral Gables in replacement police officers to apply immigration – WLRN

The city of Hyalia has concluded an agreement with the Trump administration to assist immigration.

This now makes Hialeah the second city in Miami-Dadd County, which replaces local police officers to fulfill obligations, usually performed by immigration and customs application.

The City Council this week voted unanimously to authorize the partnership with ICE. This comes days after the Coral Gabble Police Department has signed a similar agreement.
