Former Texas, Washington WR Johntay Cook, arrested for a second time in two weeks – Sports Illustrated

Former Texas Longhorns and Washington’s wide successor Huskies Johntay Cook has been arrested and reserved on marijuana -less charges of less than two ounces, according to arrest records in Grazson, Texas.

The news of Cook’s arrest, his second for a period of two weeks, was first reported by ON3.

Cook was arrested on February 4 on separate charges of stealing crimes and interference with public obligations in Tarrant County, Texas.

Cook was a five -star perspective in the high school recruitment class in 2023. He spent the first two seasons of his career in Texas, where he caught 16 passes for 273 yards and two results in 20 games for Longhorns. He entered the transfer portal at the end of the regular season and was committed to Washington, where he was expected to be present for spring practice.

Instead, cook, rejected by the Huskies after 17 days and have not yet found a new home.
