Ing McGuire is the first Asian American Executive Director and President of the National Minority Suppliers Development Council (NMSDC)The most influential and successful organization for the development of minority business in America, connecting over 17,000 minority business enterprises (MBE) with more than 1700 corporate members. A multicultural and multilingual McGuire has over 15 years of experience in the executive leadership and is a leading defender of the expansion of business diversity in both the private sector. During his stay at NMSDC, McGuire manages efforts for organizational transformation and technological modernization aimed at positioning the organization to achieve the ambitious goal of increasing the annual revenue for MBES certified by NMSDC to $ 1 trillion. Prior to joining the NMSDC, McGuire was a global Vice President of the Technology Integration Group (TIG), certified by NMSDC minority technology company with 25 offices in the United States, China, Canada and a global affiliate network covering four mainlands. Prior to Tig, as a corporate leader at Dell Technologies, McGuire has built and maintained global initiatives with great impact in many functions and mentoring numerous entrepreneurs and executive directors (CEO). McGuire also plays various leadership roles in the community. In 2016, she was appointed by the Minister of Trade of the United States to the US Advisory Board. She was the first female chairman of the Advisory Board of the International Trade Center (ITC), a joint agency of the UN and a WTO based in Switzerland. In 2021, McGuire was appointed to the Council of Insufficient Service Community (CUC), which provides advice, ideas and opinions on SBA programs and services and questions of interest to small business in communities with insufficient service. She is also a member of the Asian Chamber of Commerce Chamber of Grand Austin (GAACC) and adviser on board of the George HW Foundation on US and China relations. During his career, McGuire has been repeatedly recognized as a defender of the diversity of suppliers: called “Twenty -five influential women in business” by Mea magazine; “The Best Defender of Diversity in America” ​​from DiversityBusiness.com; and the “best of the decade” by Minority Business USA. McGuire regularly talks about the diversity of suppliers and business and economic development and has been presented at many regional, national and international conferences, including the World Export Forum. Born and raised in China, McGuire immigrated to the United States with only one suitcase and $ 1,000 to pursue her American dream. After receiving a master’s degree in business administration and international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, she begins a professional and personal journey, leading to her true calling – to help others like her achieve her American dreams.
