An extradited American woman denies a plot to kill the owner of the West Midlands store – Kidderminster Shuttle

Amy Betoro, originally from Wisconsin, is believed to have participated in a conspiracy in which a man threatened with firearms in the South Yardley area in Birmingham in September 2019.

The 45-year-old, who appears in the Birmingham Coronian Court on Friday from a video link to HMP New Hall in West Yorkshire, only talks to enter three non-guilty requests on a murder conspiracy, possessing a firearm with the intention of causing fear by violence and accusation related to the alleged import of ammunition in the UK.

The allegations include the claim that Betoro was talking to Mohammed Nazir and Mohammed Aslam about the murder of Aslat Mahumad and his family members between August 21 and September 10, 2019.

It is alleged that the firearm crime was committed on September 8, 2019, while the charging of ammunition smuggling refers to the period between September 12 and October 23, 2019.

Beto, wearing glasses and striped long-sleeved glasses, appeared behind a desk in a prison video cabin during the 12-minute hearing and was left to hearing in a pre-trial review on April 3.

By shortening the case, Judge Andrew Smith CS told Betro: “As you heard, your process will start on July 21 this year.

“I have made a number of instructions to ensure that your experience will start as planned. Additional instructions will be given to a pre -trial hearing.

“Between April 3rd you will stay under guard.”
