Overview
Work package 4
covers the development and assessment of strategic materials for
implementation of recommendations for preventing falls among elderly
people in the EU.
Aim
This WP aims at increasing awareness of EU citizens, scientific
community, health care personnel and providers, as well as policy makers
on fall related injuries and effective practices for their prevention.
Thus, WP-4 is directly linked to the first and third general objectives
of the call for proposals, by improving the collective evidence
regarding the occurrence of fall injuries as well as advocating and
promoting prevention measures of such injuries.
Deliverables

Report summarizing the research on the feasibility study addressing
implementation of large scale interventions for preventing falls in the
elderly.

Materials on strategic resources for dissemination of the prevention
of falls among the elderly.

Report on the assessment of the feasibility of large scale
interventions in selected EU countries.
