Overview

Aim

• Identifying ways to overcome the barriers in applying best practices and efficient policies to achieve tangible prevention of unintentional injuries in all age groups and development of the European Code Against Injuries

Specific Objectives

• Select injury priorities and gather relevant best/good practices and policies

• Develop evaluation criteria to assess best practices and policies

• Identify success factors and barriers for the implementation of each of the selected best practices and policies

• Customize selected best practices for individual MS

• Assess applicability and impact of the EU Code Against Injuries

Deliverables

• European Code Against Injuries (ECAI) (Best practices and recommendations for effective prevention of all types of injuries in all age groups)

  • European Code Against Injuries 

• Success factors and barriers to implementation of prevention related to all types of injuries
